Free zumba event

I know everyone likes free things! The summit is having a free zumba class outside at the amphitheater. It's June 14th from 7:30-9pm. It's to celebrate how many years zumba has been at the summit and it's during the Freedom Fest. Hope to see you there!

Play Group this Friday, May 25th

Hello ladies!

We will be meeting this Friday, May 25th, at 10 AM at the Plymouth County Park AKA the McClumpha Park (located on Ann Arbor Trail between Sheldon and Beck).

Food Club!

I've decided that we need to start a food club! Not sure why we don't have one yet, because one, I love food, which I'm pretty sure you all do too ;), and two, everyone in our ward are fantastic cooks and it can be a great way to share our recipes. So its official, I'm starting it. I'm thinking what we could do is pick a theme for the month, and whoever hosts, can pick the theme. For instance, a soup night, pizza night, Italian night, appetizer/finger food night, dessert night, cafe rio night, etc etc, basically whatever, just as long as it involves FOOD! We then can all bring something and sit there and eat and chat, what we do and love best right?! Maybe play some games if we feel like getting crazy.

We can do this every other month if you want. I'm not sure what time would be best for everyone, but I'm thinking a little later like 7:30 or 8 since we usually want to make sure our husbands are home and kids are hopefully in bed. Whoever hosts can pick the time actually.

So I will start out! I love Mexican food, so lets do a Mexican food theme at my house on Tuesday June 5th at 7:30pm. So get your fam some McDonalds that night and save your appetite and bring your favorite Mexican dish. And if there is already something in the ward going on that night, let me know so I can change the date. Hope everyone can come! Even if you aren't able to get something made that night, come anyway because I'm sure there will be more than enough!

Play Group on Friday, May 11th!!

We are finally having another official play group this Friday, May 11th.  Let's plan on meeting around 10 AM at Heritage Park for some fun and maybe food (if you want to pack a picnic).  We'll plan on gathering at the main playground by the soccer fields.  Call me if you have any questions.  See you there!

Free Comics at Canton Library

"Saturday, May 5 is Free Comic Book Day! That's right, free comics at the library courtesy of Comic City. Starting at 9:00 AM, pick up a comic (one per person) at Children's and East (Teen) Desk. Supplies are limited, so get 'em while they last."

Free Springtime Movies

Emagine theater in Canton (The older one west of the freeway) has free kid movies Saturdays at 8 and 9 am. I can't remember what the one is this saturday, but the following week is Journey 2: the Mysterious Island (starring the Rock). So if the dad's need somewhere to take the kids while you're at women's conference.....
After that, I think it ends. Boo. Sorry I didn't find out about it earlier.

Tuesday at the Emagine Theater at 8:20 it is for the Hunger Games! Hope to see you all there! Bring a friend too if you can. The more the merrier!
