Scentsy Online Party!

One of my favorite things about the Holiday Season are the smells.

A few years ago I was introduced to a wonderful product line,

Scentsy.

I used the last of my Scentsy supply this last month, and I just found out my cousin, Melissa, is a consultant in Utah.

I got in touch with her, and since she can't come throw a party in Michigan we decided to throw a party online!

A few things I really like about Scentsy:

Aromas.

The large variety of delicious, long lasting smells, and how easy it is to switch between them. You can even mix different smells together in one warmer to come up with your own combinations.

Safety.

What do we always say? Safety first.

Well, Scentsy uses candle warmers to melt the candle wax instead of an open flame. Safer in many ways (fire hazards, kids, breathing toxins...). The wax won't get hotter than body temperature, so it cannot burn skin.

Creative Designs.

They are a great accent to any home decor.

And, I was excited to learn that they now have small plug in warmers for smaller rooms. I'm excited to get some for by bathrooms.

Girls Bedding

I have super cute girl bedding that I am getting rid of. It's a twin bedding set. I bought it in college for myself, but now I don't have a need for it now. Evelyn's new bedroom is pink, and I don't envision us painting it just so we can match with this bed set. I have been saving it, because it's really cute and in great condition.

Parking Lot Sale

Hey Ladies... I need your opinion for a marketing design for my dads computer program... do you like this graphic and website..... or check out the original. www.startwrite.com. I'd really appreciate your opinion. The product is marketed more towards women and children. It is a handwriting software that allows you to type words in a dot font which can then be printed off and your kids can trace the letters and learn how to write.

Airshow Tickets

THE TICKETS ARE SOLD--THANKS!!

We purchased tickets to the airshow at Willow Run (Thunder Over Michigan) this weekend. We purchased them in February (we have a die-hard airplane fan in our home) knowing we would go fo sure. Unfortunately, Andrew just got assigned to go out of town on Saturday afternoon and one of our girls is sick. SO, would anyone like to purchase our tickets at a great price--Two tickets (kids 15 and younger are free) plus parking for $35. Currently, if you buy them yourself, you would pay $55 online or $70 at the gate so this is a pretty good deal if you want to go and don't have tickets. 

 If interested, please call Andrew ASAP 313-515-5187 (Leave a message if he doesn't answer. All that top-secret stuff & sometimes he can't get to the phone-hahaha.) He needs a name for each ticket and your email address to be able to transfer the tickets.

BTW, I have been "dragged" to air shows all over the country and even other countries, and this really is a good one. I always think I won't like it and then I love it and my children love it. Just saying!

Westland Splash Pad

The kids and I are heading to the splash pad (Westland) after our last session of swim lessons this Friday. We will be there around 10:15 and would love to have anyone come join us!!!

Book of Mormom ASL VHS tapes

Does anyone want or know someone that wants the full Book of Mormon ASL VHS tapes. . . there are quite a few. . . I have the full set -the whole Book of Mormon in sign language- and I feel bad just throwing them away. . . I also have the 6 missionary discussions as well. Let me know. LOST MY RINGS

A few weeks ago I left 3 rings in the cultural hall at the church while I was playing basketball. I don't know why I didn't think to leave a post here sooner. Anyway, I lost my wedding ring which is a princess cut with four small diamonds on either side of it...white gold, another is my engagement ring small and round with a little slit in it that has diamonds inside(looks kinda like a little mouth with some little round diamonds in it) also white gold, the 3rd one is silver with a raised flower pattern on it. Sad, sad, sad. We are moving out of the Canton ward!! We are looking for tenants to rent out this home. If anyone knows anyone who is interested in renting, please call us! Mud Day at Nankin Mills

I am so excited about this event! Doesn't it sound fun to let your kids run around in the mud and get completely dirty!! And then for a fireman to hose them off just tops the list on something fun to do this summer!!! It is for ages 2-15 (bummer I'm a few years older than that) and goes from 11 to 1 and it's free!!!

Swimming and Concerts!

Hello Party People!
For all you looking for some summer fun, I've got you covered! Every Thursday (starting this week) we are meeting at the Chatterton Square Pool from 1:00 to 4:00ish. Come whenever it works for your kids naps and playtime. One of the four families that live here should be able to be there during that time. You can call me to make sure, 716-517-0418.

Also, every Wednesday at 12:00 is the Plymouth Concert in the Park. I can't remember the name of the park, but it is the one downtown in the square with the big water fountain. I plan on just packing a picnic and enjoying the music and sunshine! The concerts go through the end of August. They also have concerts every Friday night at 7:00 if you want to take your husbands and family.

Canton's concerts at Heritage Park are every other Tuesday starting next week and goes through the end of July. I believe it also starts at 12:00.

Hope to see you all at one or all of the events! And let me know what else is happening so we can all have a summer of fun!

Fire Station Extravaganza!

Call for Help

My mom is really ill. She just had her knee replaced last week and the recovery has not gone well. In short I really feel like I need to be with her. I am planning on flying out to Utah with Nicole on Saturday the 13th of February and coming back on the 20th.

I need help. I need someone to watch Russell and Natalie during the day. (Russell doesn't have school this week.) I thought Matthew could drop off the kids in the morning around 7:45am to 8am. Maybe someone could come get the kids around 1pm and have them till 5:30pm when Matthew would pick them up.

Please let me know if you can do a morning or afternoon shift. It would be helpful if you could pick two mornings or two afternoons. I really appreciate the help.

Old Testament Plays

FYI: I have written some plays based on stories from the Old Testament (with JST and Pearl of Great Price corrections as applicable.) Most of them require 2-4 actors. If anyone is interested, then you can let me know which stories you want, and I will pass them on. (And since these are not professional, if you see a mistake, then let me know so I can fix it.) There are 47 plays ranging from Adam and Eve to Jonah.
