Just thought I'd let everyone know a great place for blueberry picking if you are interested. It was $2/lb.

Umbrella Stroller

So I'm leaving town this Saturday for a few weeks and I was wondering if anyone has a little umbrella type stroller that they wouldn't mind me borrowing. It's just for the airport so I don't have to bring my honkin Phil and Ted lugging 3 kids around. If you do and wouldn't mind, let me know, that'd be awesome!

Celebrating SWEET Things: A Baby Open House for Marcie Huber, Jenny Salmon, Noel Schmid and Emily Anderson

Come help us celebrate the births and upcoming births of 4 SWEET babies.  We will be having an Open House on Thursday, January 24th from 8-9:30 PM at Laura Sawaya's house (49529 Taft Lane, Canton, 48188).  Bring your SWEETest toppings to share as we will be serving and enjoying banana splits.  It doesn't get any SWEETer than that!

We will have a diaper fund available for those who would like to contribute or just come and visit with us.

Dehumidifier

Does anyone own a dehumidifier that we could borrow?  Our dishwasher flooded and now we have some warping on our wood floor.....so sad.  :(  Please let me know if you own anything of the sort.

Happy Holidays!!!

Hey ladies Happy Holidays! I just wanted to put the idea out there for anyone who wants one for there home or anyone who is looking for that perfect gift for someone. My sister is a rep for Scentsy. Which if you have not heard of, they are awesome. They are scented flameless candles. They are adorable and the scents rock! I love pumpkin roll it is my favorite for around the holidays. The lights that melt the wax don't get hot enough to burn. So I don't worry about Katelin or Isaac getting burned by it. By the crazy chance that they would be touching it. But anyway it's pretty awesome! I know they have sets where you can get like a warmer and 3 scents for $50. Which is also pretty awesome! Anyway sorry about that. LOL  Here is her website

Soup Night

Thanks everyone who came last month for Asian Food Night! You guys never seem to disappoint with awesome food!

This month we are doing Soup Night! So bring your favorite soup to share. It is going to be Wednesday October 17th at 7:30pm at Emily Anderson's house (42270 Oakland, Canton).

If anyone wants to make soup bowls I thought that could be fun. Or rolls. So let me know if you want to do that.

Plymouth Apple Orchard 9/20/12 @1pm

Since I'm pretty confident that I'm not having a baby on Thursday (my due date), I need something to look forward to. How about we go to the Plymouth Apple Orchard. Plymouth Orchards Cider Mill is located on the north side of Warren road, 2 miles south of M-14, between Gotfredson and Napier roads in Plymouth. Let's meet at 1pm. Its supposed to not be very crowded because its not October yet. Let me know if the time doesn't work well for you. We could always go on Friday morning. (I'm probably not having a baby then either.) Food Club this Wednesday!

Just a reminder that Food Club is meeting this Wednesday, Sept 12th at 7pm at Jenny Salmon's house (4110 Brighton Lane, Canton). If you haven't come in the past, what we do is pick a theme for the night, everyone bring something to share, and we sit around eating and chatting! Doesn't get better, right?! Basically a girls night with good food :)

This month is going to be an Asian food night!  It's always lots of fun, so bring your favorite dish and we'll see you there!

I know it’s a little late in the season for garage sales but I decided that I wanted to get rid of a few things and I’m not patient enough to wait until spring.  It will be this Friday and Saturday (September 7 & 8) 8am-4pm.  I’m listing some of the things we’re selling below in case anyone is interested and wants to stop by this weekend.  Everything will be priced very reasonably.

Plymouth Splash Pad on Friday - Aug. 31st

We are headed to the splash pad at the McClumpha/Plymouth park tomorrow around 10:30.  We will probably pack a lunch and find ourselves at Dairy King somewhere along the way as well.  :)  Come join us if you would like!!  (And bring your cash for Dairy King)

Kensington Metropark

Hey! We are moving tomorrow (Saturday August 25th) and would love some extra help loading and unloading boxes!!! If you are free we are meeting at 10am at our apartment: 41202 Canton Court in Canton.  It is in Meadowood Townhomes (building 16) off of Haggerty just north of Palmer.

Also, along that note, let me know if you need boxes. We will be getting rid of ours in the near future. :-)

Food Club Night

So last month was our Pie Night and it was such a fun night with SO many delicious pies! I'm pretty sure we all ate about 8000 calories in an hour. Dave was our judge and he had such a hard time deciding the winner, but in the end he chose Mindy's apple pie. So if you need an apple pie recipe she is the one to ask! Thanks Mindy and all who brought those awesome pies! Next month we are going to have an Asian food night on Wednesday September 12th at 7pm at Jenny Salmon's house. (4110 Brighton Lane, Canton) Hope everyone can make it!
