Children's Writing Contest

Contest open to three age groups: 6-8, 9-11, and 12-14

Stories will be judged on:
Creativity and originality
Quality of artwork
Compatibility of text and illustrations
Clear presentation of idea or story
Accuracy of spelling and grammar

One grand, 2nd, and 3rd prize winner in each age group. Nine winners total. No purchase necessary. Contest open to children ages 6-14 at time of entry, who are legal residents of the United States and have parental consent. Submit entries on Tikatok.com from July 11, 2011- Aug. 21, 2011. To enter, must have a valid Tikatok account (create an account for free at Tikatok.com). Stories can be a maximum of 20 pages in length.

Grand prize: Nook color, $500 Barnes and Noble Gift Card, and meet Peter Lerangis (39 Clues) in NYC.
2nd Prize: $100 Barns and Noble Gift Card and $50 Tikatok Gift Card
3rd Prize: $50 Barns and Noble Gift Card and $25 Tikatok Gift Card
